We are at home in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. It's not so much our local roots that connect us to our homeland, but rather the knowledge that life in the Alpine region has traditionally been characterized by the conscious use of limited resources.
Our immediate dependence on nature shapes our sense of responsibility and long-termism.
The roots of our values lie in the respectful treatment of our natural habitat, which should be preserved in its diversity as a basis for life and a source of inspiration for future generations.
Longevity
Our designs are a homage to pureness, the purity of the material and the stability of the form. We are firmly committed to sustainable action and feel obliged to the principle that our products can be repaired, because this is the only way to ensure their longevity for generations. Repairing and maintaining deepens the relationship between people and the product.
We have been pursuing the idea of combining design and ecology since our founding in 1990.
We only use hardwood from sustainable forestry and do not chemically treat the wood. The surfaces, which are left open-pored with organic oils, allow our furniture to breathe and preserve its naturalness.
Made in Germany
We draw on the wealth of experience of typical regional wood crafts in southern Germany and the Alpine region that has grown over centuries.
This knowledge, in conjunction with the most modern computer-controlled processing technologies, enables us to produce sensual furniture of high practical value.
